Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a boutique law firm in Irvine that is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex business litigation matters from inception through trial. The firm offers a collaborative, team-oriented culture and is looking for a candidate interested in a long-term opportunity through a temp-to-hire arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of complex business litigation matters.
- Manage case files, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents in California state and federal courts.
- Coordinate and track discovery, including document productions, interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
- Organize and maintain case databases, exhibits, witness files, and trial binders.
- Conduct factual research, document analysis, and case investigations.
- Summarize depositions, medical records, financial records, and other case-related documents.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness coordination, and courtroom support.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
- Manage litigation deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably handling business litigation matters.
- Strong experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation and trial attendance.
- Thorough knowledge of California state and federal court procedures.
- Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts.
- Strong understanding of discovery processes and litigation case management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
